Whenever we meet together, we look forward to sharing and hearing testimonies of what God is doing in our lives.  We want to encourage and inspire each other to seek God for the miraculous and to step out and take risks for Him.

In February I had a business trip to San Francisco and took the opportunity to visit my sister and her family who live in Redding and are on staff at Bethel Church.  It was just and ordinary weekend at Bethel (although there was a visiting preacher there on the Sunday) and I went along to more or less everything I could over the three days.  On Saturday morning I went along to the Healing Room and filled in a small form and listed “hearing loss” as the issue for prayer as I have suffered industrial hearing loss and have worn hearing aids for about 5 years to compensate for about 20% loss on both sides.  When my turn arrived a group of about five people gathered around and prayed for me and then asked how I would know if I was healed.   I said that normally I could not hear my daughters talk very well especially in a noisy environment as an example; the environment we were in was in fact pretty noisy so we retreated to a long quiet corridor.  They continued to pray but had one of the team stand about 3m away and with my eyes closed had me repeat short declarations she was making.  I was able to do that quite few times but at some point I was unable to make out what she was saying and said so.  The team all laughed and told me to open my eyes...it turned out that the young woman had taken a few steps back upon each repeat and when I was unable to hear her, she was in-fact about 20-25m away.  The rest of the team could not hear her either from that distance! That was in February and I have not worn my hearing aids since that time and despite being in situations where I would have normally struggled to hear well I have been absolutely fine.  This is a terrific blessing from God.
