This year we are combining with other local churches to run Alpha on the Miramar Peninsula.

What is Alpha?

Alpha is an opportunity for you to explore and understand the Christian faith. No question is too simple, too tough or too ‘out there’. Try us!

What Can I Expect?

Over 7 weeks, you can expect relevant topics, relatable hosts and a relaxed environment. Each session begins with dessert & coffee, providing an opportunity to get to know others in a casual setting. This is followed by a talk on DVD, which examines a different aspect of the Christian faith.  Then there is ample time to disagree, agree and discuss what you’ve heard in small groups.

What Topics Are Covered?

Some of the questions we'll explore are: Who is Jesus and why did He die? Does God heal today? How does God guide us? Why and how do I pray? Why and how should I read the bible? How can I develop a relationship with God? What about the Church? Is there more to life than this?

Who Is This For?

Everyone! Over 19 million people have attended Alpha in tens of thousands of churches, cafes, homes, workplaces, prisons and pubs around the world.

Anything Else I Should Know?

Alpha is an established global ministry, engaging people wherever they are in life. Each Alpha runs for 7-8 weeks. You don't have to come to the whole Alpha - pop in for the first night and see what you think. There's no pressure, no follow up and no charge!
